A report revealed that Israel had simulated the arrival of a more infectious Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) variant days before the discovery of the omicron variant.
The Jerusalem Post (JPost) reported last month that top Israeli officials participated in a COVID-19 war exercise on November 11. Dubbed the “Omega Exercise,” the event sought to gauge Israel’s preparedness for the next COVID-19 wave.
“We are starting an unprecedented event here – not only on an Israeli scale, but on a global level. We are conducting a war exercise to prepare for a new variant that does not even exist yet,” Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said at the start of the exercise.
“The most threatening thing is not the current situation, but what we do not know yet. Just as the delta strain suddenly and violently erupted – other more deadly, more contagious [and] vaccine-resistant variants could arrive.”
The JPost reported that the Omega Exercise was meant to check if “all the [government] ministries are ready for the next wave, hospitals can manage under extreme circumstances and that Israeli scientists are closely following every [SARS-CoV-2] variant that has emerged in the world – no matter how small.”
According to Bennett, Israel has surfaced from the delta variant-driven surge without the need to lock down the country. His predecessor, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, had thrice imposed a nationwide lockdown.
The incumbent prime minister acknowledged that the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet disappeared, citing “record numbers” of COVID-19 cases in Europe.
Bennett made reference to the fictional “omega strain” during the exercise. A little over two weeks later, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the omicron strain as a variant of concern. (Related: Highly vaccinated Israel closes borders amid fears of the omicron variant spreading.)
In a Nov. 26 statement, the WHO said the omicron variant was first identified in South Africa two days prior. “This variant has a large number of mutations, some of which are concerning. Preliminary evidence suggests an increased risk of reinfection,” it noted.
Back in July, Dr. David Martin denounced the COVID-19 pandemic as a scam in an interview with attorney Reiner Fuellmich. He also denied the existence of so-called “variants of concern,” revealing that these are but computer simulations.
Martin told Fuellmich: “There is no such thing as an alpha, beta, gamma [or] delta variant. This is a means by which … individuals can be coerced into accepting something that they would not otherwise accept. What has been estimated are computer simulation.
“There has been no ability to identify any clinically altered gene sequence, which then has a clinically expressed variation. This is the problem all along, going back to the very beginning of what’s alleged to be a pandemic. We do not have any evidence that the gene sequence alteration had any clinical significance whatsoever. There is no – and I am going to repeat this – there is no evidence that the [B16172] delta variant is somehow distinct from anything else.
“We are looking at fragments of things, and the fact that if we choose any fragment, I could come up with the [omega variant] tomorrow. I could say I’m looking for this sub-strand of either DNA or RNA or even a protein – and I could run around the world going ‘Oh my gosh, fear the omega variant.'” (Related: Steel Truth: Dr. David Martin talks about the COVID criminal conspiracy – Brighteon.TV.)
Meanwhile, Mises Institute Senior Editor Ryan McMaken expressed his criticism of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown narrative.
“Since the very beginning of the COVID panic, the narrative has been this: Implement severe lockdowns or your population will experience a bloodbath. On the other hand, we were assured those jurisdictions that do lock down would see only a fraction of the death toll,” he said.
“The lockdown narrative, of course, has already been thoroughly overturned. Jurisdictions that did not lock down or adopted only weak and short lockdowns ended up with COVID death tolls that were either similar to – or even better than – death tolls in countries that adopted draconian lockdowns.”
McMaken concluded: “Lockdown advocates said locked-down countries would be overwhelmingly better off. These people were clearly wrong.”
